I found the hotel to be a perfect base for my weekend strolls, being just a short drive from the beautiful John Slidell Park and only about a 20-minute trip to downtown New Orleans where there’s so much to see.

The double room was very clean and quiet, perfect for a solo traveler looking for some peace. Though I didn't partake in the breakfast, the refrigerator and microwave were handy. However, the lack of basic amenities like an iron or hairdryer was surprising.
